Communications Committee:
Reports to Communications Director: Hadie Bartholomew
Assistant Communications Director: (1+ hours per week)
- Assume the responsibilities of the Communications Director in his/her absence or incapacity to serve.
- Handle other assignments or special projects as directed by the Communications Director.
- Begin planning his/her term as Communications Director.
Newsletter Coordinator(s): (3+ hours per month)
- Gather ideas and coordinates the writing for the quarterly newsletters.
Online PR Coordinator: (3+ hours per month)
- Create all postcards, direct mail and misc PR material needed throughout the year.
Press Release Coordinator: (3+ hours per month)
- Create all postcards, direct mail and misc PR material needed throughout the year.
Creative Coordinator(s): (when needed)
- Create all postcards, direct mail and misc PR material needed throughout the year.
Hospitality Committee:
Reports to Hospitality Director: Krystal Patterson at krystyl.patterson@clevelandama.com
Assistant Hospitality Director: (1+ hours per week)
- Assume the responsibilities of the Hospitality Director in his/her absence or incapacity to serve.
- Handle other assignments or special projects as directed by the Hospitality Director.
- Begin planning his/her term as Hospitality Director.
Event Greeter(s): (3+ hours per month)
- Greet all event attendees at the door and make sure to direct them to the correct person if they have questions.
Membership Retention Committee:
Reports to Membership Retention Director: Mark Johnson at mark.johnson@clevelandama.com
Assistant Membership Retention Director: (1+ hours per week)
- Assist the Membership Retention Director in managing the Membership Retention Committee.
- Other duties to be identified as the position develops.
Member Benefits Coordinator: (1+ hours per week)
- Review and contact various members within the chapter to see what type of discounts and special offers they could provide to members.
- Assist with planning two Member Only events at a premier location in the area.

Retention Coordinator: (1+ hours per week)
- Contact members 3, 6, and 9 months after joining/renewal. Contacts will be by phone, email, or postcard, according to a schedule. These are friendly touch-base contacts.

Member of the Month (MOM) Coordinator: (1+ hours per week)
- Coordinate the Member of the Month program.
- Bring membership display materials to events.
- Other duties to be identified as the position develops.
CVENT Coordinator: (1+ hours per week)
- Reconcile monthly Member list from IH with Member information in CVENT.
- Perform occasional QC tasks.
- Other duties to be identified as the position develops.
Membership Recruitment Committee:
Reports to Membership Recruitment Director: Meghan Sullivan at meghan.sullivan@clevelandama.com
Assistant Membership Recruitment Director: (1+ hours per week)
- Assist the Membership Recruitment Director in managing the Membership Recruitment Committee.
- Other duties to be identified as the position develops.
Referral Coordinator: (1+ hours per week)
- Manage all incoming membership referrals and help convert these prospects into Members.
- Contact each Prospect, share with them the benefits of becoming a Member, send them a Membership Application and answer questions. Maintain a database of prospects and points of contact.
- Help the Director of Membership – Recruitment develop a Member-Get-A-Member program, and manage that program upon launch.
- Position may evolve over time.
Recruitment Coordinator: (1+ hours per week)
- Prospect for potential new members.
- Search local publications for news on promotions and new hires in Marketing.
- Contact prospects and invite them to attend an event at the Member rate as a congratulations.
- Maintain database of prospects and points of contact.
- Position may evolve over time.
Membership Communications Coordinator: (1+ hours per week)
- Assist Membership Directors by serving as liaison between Membership Committee and Marketing Director for all Membership-related communications.
- Spearhead design and development of Membership-related campaigns – e-mail, postcards, etc.
- Assist in copywriting to ensure the right message is delivered to the right audience.
Sponsorship Committee:
Reports to Sponsorship Director: Jeff Staats at jeff.staats@clevelandama.com
Assistant Sponsorship Director: (1+ hours per week)
- Assist the Sponsorship Director in managing the Sponsorship Committee.
- Other duties to be identified as the position develops.
Sponsor Relations Director: (1+ hour per week)
- Work with Programming Director to ensure sponsors are getting their time to speak and table space.
- Work with Hospitality Director to ensure sponsors are getting the number of free event tickets they are entitled to and that they are getting names of attendees.
Technology Committee:
Reports to Technology Director: OPEN
Assistant Technology Director: (1+ hours per week)
- Assist the Technology Director in managing the Technology Committee.
- Other duties to be identified as the position develops.
Event Writer(s): (2+ hours per month)
- Write a one-page summary of each event
- Sent the summary, along with pictures from the event, to all local media outlets.
