With more than $2billion in local development, Cleveland stands on the doorstep of a revitalization that will result in hundreds of thousands of annual visitors and millions of dollars pumped into the local economy. At the center of this energy is the Cleveland Medical Mart & Convention Center, housing 230,000 square feet of Class A exhibition hall space and an adjacent Medical Mart facility that will be a center of health care innovation, education, and commerce. Dave Johnson will provide an update on the construction of the facility as well as how Cleveland will capitalize on its strength as the nation’s medical capital to attract hundreds of trade shows and conventions per year. AMA Member Spotlight - May 2012 Lisa Locklear - Business Development Director “I am passionate about most things in my life. Professionally, I thrive on business challenges and am always networking because I love to connect people to solutions and common interests. I am the business development director at Stone Crossing Solutions and love my job! I spend my days connecting folks who have great business ideas with the technology and marketing expertise necessary to deliver them in our world. Since Stone has thirty three years of experience in North East Ohio, we have a great resume that's exciting and fun to talk about! Personally, I am a mom, wife and active athlete. I teach spinning, pilates and yoga classes at a few gyms and my husband and I enjoy long (100+mile) bikerides, triathlons and cross country skiing. I grew up in my family's California winery, so I am the resident wine geek pretty often and happy to share!
